Below: FWA.GRs new powerboat in Loutsa Bay, Athens. Many thanks to Alex Poupalos for donating this wonderful and essential piece of equipment to our association. It will become an indispensable tool during the training sessions and a great safety boat (hopefully it won't be needed for this role!). It is 3.8 meters long and it is equipped with a 15 horse powerboat engine.

Welcome our new FWA member, Alex Poupalos. He is a bit addicted with windsurfing...
Perhaps a great moment to remember from last year's (2008) Formula Windsurfing Championship closing ceremony. (from left) Sean 'O Brian (AUS-120), Christian Frey (GRE-969), Akis Hrisohou (GRE-4), Christian Psihas (GRE-25) and (on the right - always unique with his dressing code!) Jason Roditis (GRE-200). We would like to thank AUS-120 in particular for honouring the event with his presence.
Formula athletes have a distinguished profile at other events too, here we see overall 2009 Slalom Jeep Cup winners. Event took place 19-20th Sept. (left) Dimitris Yiannatos (GRE-8, 3rd pos.), (center) Thiseas Kampas(1st pos.) and (right) Zan Mark Fantis (GRE-7, 2nd pos.). The event attracted more than 100 competitors this year...
